Workshop Operations Manager

About the Role
We are excited to be recruiting for a Workshop Controller to join our team at Stoneacre Motor Group. This is an unrivalled opportunity to contribute to the success of one of the UK's fastest growing motor groups.
As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for managing the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets. You will take great pride in your work, helping us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and setting an unrivalled standard for the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a safe workshop environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Plan the distribution of work amongst the team, taking into account individual skill levels and expertise.
- Analyse and manage the effective use of workshop resources, monitoring individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure the company's targets and key performance indicators are met.
- Manage liaison between the workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
- Support the Service Manager in day-to-day duties.
- Carry out quality control in the workshop.
- Offer exceptional customer service, including maintaining customer relationships.
- Take care of any customer issues or complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
About You
We consider candidates from all backgrounds who have experience working in the automotive sector. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, thrive working in a challenging yet rewarding environment, and be able to work well under pressure.
You will have the ability to effectively manage a team, be consumer and market focused, and business and commercially driven with demonstrable expertise in the automotive sector. You will demonstrate brand alignment and hold a full UK driving licence.
