About the role...

We are recruiting for a Workshop Controller to manage the process of optimising workshop resources to meet agreed departmental budgets.

As a Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for representing a variety of manufacturers and handling a diverse range of vehicles and models.

You will take great pride in your work, helping us to deliver exceptional customer experiences and setting an unrivalled standard for the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a safe workshop environment in accordance with HSO requirements.
  • Plan the distribution of work amongst the team taking into account individual skill levels.
  • Analyse and manage the effective use of workshop resources and monitor individual and workshop efficiencies to ensure the company's targets and KPi's are met.
  • Manage liaison between workshop and service reception on customer vehicle progress.
  • Support the Service Manager in day-to-day duties.
  • Carry out quality control in the workshop.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, including maintaining customer relationships.
  • Taking care of any customer issues or complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
