About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Health, Safety and Environmental Manager at our Sweet and Fruit Ingredients manufacturing site in Tenbury Wells. The facility produces a range of fruit preparations, including preserves, fillings, and sauces, as well as chocolate and caramel sauces for various industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safe systems of work to mitigate potential hazards and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain environmental management systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and minimize the site's environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with site management and regional HSE leads to drive the safety agenda, incorporating training, culture, and staff involvement.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in health, safety, and environmental management.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment or service company.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present reports and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Good knowledge of UK health, safety, and environmental legislation.
