About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental Manager to join our team at our Sweet & Fruit Ingredients manufacturing site in Tenbury Wells. As the primary lead and coordinator for Health, Safety & Environmental activities, you will advise management teams on legal requirements, industry best practices, and prevailing group standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance HSE awareness and skills.
- Drive culture change and reinforce good safety practices through effective communication and engagement.
- Create and maintain performance frameworks for assessing and benchmarking HSE performance.
- Coordinate risk assessments, safe systems of work, and accident investigation processes.
- Designate and conduct regular HSE audits to ensure compliance with local and regional requirements.
- Chair the site HSE Committee and coordinate its activities.
- Review and update the Site Health, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems to reflect industry best practices and Kerry Group standards.
- Support Occupational Health Programs and advise management on health-related concerns and job impacts.
- Drive continuous improvement and target delivery across key OHS and sustainability metrics.
- Represent the site and company at local, regional, or national H&S forums and conferences.
- Minimum NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Similar HSE experience at a supervisory level within a manufacturing environment or service company.
- Strong leadership and people skills.
- Well-developed communication skills to present reports and engage with stakeholders.
- Good knowledge of UK H&S and Environmental Legislation.
