Prospero Teaching seeks an experienced SEN Tutor to provide one-on-one tuition to children with a range of Special Educational Needs or Behavioural Needs in the Chelmsford area.

Job Description
  • Create, plan, and deliver tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.
  • Work with students who may have been out of education for some time, requiring patience and understanding to build their confidence.
Contract Details
  • Location: Chelmsford

  • Duration: Dependent on each student
  • Contract type: Temporary
  • Rate of pay: £25 per hour through our umbrella company
Requirements
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent qualification
  • 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
  • Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)
  • Experience working with SEN or similar students
Eligibility Criteria
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate
  • Provide two professional child-related references
