Job Description

**Employee Relations Advisor - York Hybrid Working**

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our team at Brainkind, a charity that aims to improve the lives of people with brain injuries in the UK. As an Employee Relations Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our people managers in all aspects of employee relations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide advice and case management across the organisation for disciplinary, grievance, and formal capability/performance, long-term absence, and AWOL issues, working in accordance with employment law, best practice, and people policies and procedures.
  • Report on case volumes, case status, and trends and update People Business Partners on cases within their regions that are more complex or considerable risk in nature.
  • Support with the collation of bundles and defence against claims where Employment Tribunals (ETs) arise.
  • Support People Business Partners with restructuring projects, redundancies, and TUPE situations where required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of working in a HR/ER Advisor role.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice and ability to practically implement.
  • Experience of advising on a wide range of HR matters, including all ER issues from disciplinaries and grievances to attendance management.
  • Ability to review and/or experience of reviewing HR policies and procedures.
