Hunter Dunning Limited is seeking a skilled Rural Surveyor to join their team in Ayr, Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established consultancy specializing in rural property management and development.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Land Agent/Rural Surveyor to assist our clients across the region. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in land rights, valuation, and compensation claims. Strong communication skills and digital mapping experience are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client visits and meetings to provide expert advice on land rights and securing them.
  • Assisting with compensation claims related to rural and utilities projects.
  • Valuation services for renewable energy projects.
  • Digital mapping and land referencing.
  • Regular client and internal meetings to ensure all stakeholders are updated frequently.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Land Agent/Rural Surveyor.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car.
  • Chartered Surveyor (preferably Registered Valuer).
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and in-person).
  • Digital mapping experience is desirable.
  • Rural activities experience (farming or forestry) is also desirable.
