About the Role:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join their team as a Rural Retreat Chef. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering exceptional culinary experiences for guests staying on the estate.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that showcase the best of Scotland's produce
  • Lead a team of chefs to deliver high-quality meals and presentations
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and supply chain
  • Collaborate with the estate's events team to create bespoke culinary experiences for guests
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-end hospitality setting
  • Excellent culinary skills, including menu planning, cooking, and presentation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in food safety and hygiene practices
