We are seeking an experienced Senior Rural Consultant to join our team in South West Scotland. As a key member of our rural business management team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality consultancy services to our clients across the region.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to build on the success of our South West business and be a significant contributor to our future growth plans. You will have direct responsibility for individual Farm & Estate Client relationships, including day-to-day management and consultancy, budgeting and financial management, and completion and management of Contract Farming/Share Farming and grazing agreements.
Key Responsibilities- Direct responsibility for individual Farm & Estate Client relationships with work streams.
- Day to day Management & Consultancy across a diverse range of agricultural and rural businesses.
- Budgeting and financial management of farm and rural businesses assisted by an in-house accounts team.
- Completion and management of Contract Farming/Share Farming and grazing agreements.
- Previous consultancy experience, good market knowledge, and commercial awareness.
- Sound practical agricultural and ideally estate management experience (Ideally 3+ years post-graduation).
- Strong analytical, research, and report writing skills.
- Understanding of the rural property and factors driving the rural and agricultural land markets.

The salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
