Duty Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Tesco Partners. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and providing top-notch services to our customers.
As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of pharmacists and support staff, ensuring that our pharmacy services are delivered to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about pharmacy leadership and has a strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, patients, and customers.
Key Responsibilities- Supply and Dispense Medications: You will be responsible for ensuring that medications are supplied and dispensed accurately and efficiently, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide Healthcare Advice: You will provide expert healthcare advice to patients and customers, including advice on medication use, health conditions, and disease prevention.
- Lead and Develop Team Members: You will lead and develop a team of pharmacists and support staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Build Relationships with Healthcare Partners: You will build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare partners, including GPs, hospitals, and community health organizations.
- Ensure Accurate Payment Claims: You will ensure that accurate payment claims are submitted for NHS-covered items, in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Pharmacy Degree: You will have a degree in pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Registration with GPhC: You will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and be willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
- DBS Check: You will undergo a DBS check before employment.
