About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Tesco. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a team of pharmacists and support staff to ensure the smooth operation of the pharmacy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and services, including the delivery of NHS and private services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items and maintain accurate records.
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy degree and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Experience in a pharmacy leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care and services.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
