Support and Inclusion Specialist

The Beckmead Trust is an expanding learning community for young people with various needs. We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support our students in Croydon.
We require an experienced individual who can provide classroom support, coordinate careers education, and work closely with teachers to meet the diverse needs of our students. This includes pupils with social communication difficulties, ASD, SEMH, and other learning needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality support to students in classrooms.
- Coordinating careers education and work experience initiatives.
- Collaborating with teachers to develop inclusive lesson plans.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent teaching assistant skills.
- A commitment to meeting the needs of students with complex requirements.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational abilities.
