Inclusion Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Inclusion Specialist to join a thriving primary school in Brent. As an Inclusion Specialist, you will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and external professionals to ensure that pupils with additional needs receive the right support to thrive academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with SEN and mainstream teachers to support children with additional needs
  • Develop and implement inclusive teaching strategies
  • Monitor the progress of students with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND)
  • Collaborate with parents, external agencies, and school staff to create an inclusive learning environment
  • Support the development and review of individual education plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working with children with SEN in a primary setting
  • Strong knowledge of inclusion strategies and teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and team-working skills
  • Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment
