Family Support Workers

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to join our team at East Herts Family Centres in Hatfield. As a Family Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting local families with young children.
About the Role:
This is a long-term opportunity that requires a commitment of 2-3 hours per week. You will be working with families and their young children in a supportive and stimulating environment. Your main tasks will include:
- Serving Families: Ensure all families feel welcome, comfortable, and valued during sessions.
- Supporting Parents: Engage parents in their babies' development and learning, setting up and tidying away activities as required.
- Leading Activities: Plan and lead specific activities for the children, encouraging their engagement and development.
Requirements:
- Aged 18 or over
- Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Commitment to online and face-to-face training
- Friendly approach
- Maintain confidentiality at all times

Estimated Salary: £8.91 - £10.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
