Sandberg is a leading provider of engineering consultancy, testing and inspection services with over 160 years of experience in the UK.
We are involved in diverse projects such as the Forth Bridges, Thames Tideway, Canary Wharf, British Museum, Palace of Westminster, HS2 and the Smithsonian Museum.
Our well-established Construction Materials Department is seeking a high-level manager to lead and develop the team.
Job Description
This role involves advising on and overseeing the testing of various construction materials including concretes, aggregates, renders, mortars, stone, brick, screeds and flooring materials (including slip resistance testing).
The department undertakes testing both on site, in the lab and takes samples for later testing.
Requirements
You will be an expert in construction materials testing with significant previous experience and extensive knowledge of concrete.
A strong English language skillset is required, both written and verbal.
Key to this role is managing and leading the six staff in the department.
Compensation Package
An estimated annual salary of £60,000 - £80,000 depending on experience.
