About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful law firm in Plymouth as a Legal Secretary. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Partners and other staff members. Your duties will include audio typing, word processing, and general file administration, as well as dealing with clients by telephone and in person as required. You will also be responsible for preparing letters, forms, and other documents, and maintaining and updating any necessary precedents. Additionally, you will be required to communicate with other members of staff as necessary and cover for temporary absences of other members of staff subject to your capability. Specific administrative duties will be arranged with the Partners, and you will be required to work where necessary by the Partners.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of audio typing and word processing, dealing with the public, and managing to prioritise tasks. A minimum of 3 years experience as a Legal Secretary is required, and experience of Matrimonial/litigation would be advantageous.
