Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate School Nurse Assistant to join our team at Rendcomb College. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a supportive environment, providing high-quality care to pupils and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the school nurses in providing nursing care to pupils and first aid care to all members of the school community.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and general housekeeping duties within the medical centre.
  • Assist with nurse drop-in clinics, provide basic first aid advice, and signpost pupils and staff to counselling and health advice services as necessary.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification or experience in healthcare or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
