We are seeking a qualified and adaptable Public Health Nurse to join our progressive health visiting service. Our team provides support to families with children aged zero to five, working in community settings or client homes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a team to keep children safe and well, using your clinical judgment to support evidence-based care planning. Your duties will include:

  • Contributing to antenatal and postnatal care programmes
  • Completing HCP mandated reviews, packages of care and safeguarding
  • Supporting in the supervision/line management and development of colleagues
  • Undertaking a range of competent clinical and non-clinical interventions to support the outcomes for families and the service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A registered healthcare professional qualification with the NMC
  • Experience of recent community/acute healthcare gained through education or work experience placement or previous employment
  • Awareness of professional issues and recent developments in the NHS
  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
