We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a school in South Manchester. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a variety of complex additional needs and helping them to achieve their learning goals.

In this role, you will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and creative activities, building strong relationships with students and staff. You will create a safe and fun learning environment for children, encouraging expected behavior and acting as a role model for students.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN in an education or care setting, with a calm and patient manner. Personal care, moving and handling, and BSL experience are desirable, as is sensitivity and understanding.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
