About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Permitting Manager to join our Design and Construction team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and advising on permitting processes for complex industrial projects, ensuring compliance with local and internal regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and advise on permitting processes for complex industrial projects, ensuring compliance with local and internal regulations.
  • Review and standardize permitting documents, follow-ups, and changes for new and retrofit sites.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve and track permitting processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure permitting compliance and project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with local regulations and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as urban development, architecture, engineering, or construction management.
  • Proven experience in project management, real estate development, architecture, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of permitting and licensing processes in EU countries.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within assigned regions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, commerce, business administration, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in German, French, Polish, Arabic, or Turkish is a plus.
