About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pre-Construction Permitting Manager to join our team at Amazon UK Services Ltd. - A10. As a key member of our Design and Construction team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects across the EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and advise on permitting processes for complex industrial projects, from shortlisting to construction completion.
  • Review and standardize permitting documents, follow-ups, and changes for new and retrofit sites.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve permitting and licensing processes in EU countries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local and internal regulations.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for the evaluation of the feasibility of potential future projects.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Development, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a comparable field.
  • Experience in project management, real estate development, architecture/design, and solid demonstrable experience in development advisory, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Development Management, Owner's project management representative, or other Commercial Development and Real Estate related disciplines.
  • Professional fluency in English required.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% within assigned regions.
