Job Overview

Lynx Recruitment Ltd is partnered with a well-established Technology Transformation Partner to help them find an Automation Applications Engineer.

This person will play a pivotal role building, testing and deploying new products into an end client in the logistics space, leveraging expertise in Machine Vision/Computer Vision/Industrial Scanning and sensor integration with technologies such as SICK, Cognex etc.

The successful candidate will have experience working with automation systems, with a focus on machine vision technologies and AWS Machine Learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and deploy automation solutions that meet customer needs.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  3. Implement and maintain high-quality automation systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in Machine Vision/Computer Vision/Industrial Scanning.
  • Familiarity with sensors such as SICK, Cognex etc.
  • A history of testing, configuring, and installing automation systems with a focus on machine vision technologies and AWS Machine Learning.

This is a permanent role with an estimated annual salary of £60,000, paid up to 80-90% of time spent in Crick, Northampton, with occasional travel across EU. If you are a motivated professional looking to make a significant impact in automation development, please apply.
