Document Automation Specialist

About the Role
The Document Automation Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated document templates and workflows for various business processes at Shoosmiths.
This role requires close collaboration with the business analysts, legal team, and IT department to ensure the quality and accuracy of the generated documents.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and develop document templates using document automation software and tools.
- Test and debug document templates and workflows, and troubleshoot any issues or errors.
- Document and maintain the specifications, processes, and best practices for document automation projects.
- Provide training and support to end-users on how to use the document automation system and templates.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance and usage of the document automation system and templates, and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in document automation, document management, or related field.
- Proficient in document automation software and tools, preferably Contract Express.
- Strong knowledge of document design, layout, and formatting principles and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
