About the Job:

We are seeking candidates for the role of Automation Control Engineer in multiple locations across the South for Wartens Ltd, a prominent employer in the automation sector. Our client is a leading company dedicated to providing essential water and wastewater services to millions of customers across the South. Due to ongoing growth, we are looking to add multiple Automation Control Engineers to their expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

Leverage your automation or electronic skills to make a significant impact as an Instrumentation Control and Automation Technician.

Maintain, repair, diagnose, modify, and install instrumentation systems.

Work with systems such as flow, level, pressure, temperature, and various chemical systems.

Requirements:

Skills / Qualifications:

Knowledge on PLC, either Siemens or Allen Bradley.

Knowledge on PLC and SCADA systems.

Basic understanding of RTU and Telemetry is a plus but not mandatory.

Experience in the water industry is a plus but not mandatory.

Key Criteria:

You should have completed qualifications in a relevant field, such as ONC, NVQ Level 3, or an equivalent qualification, or a time-served apprenticeship.

At least 2 years of experience in PLC programming.

A full, valid UK driving license is required.
