About the Role

The Civil Enforcement Officer will be responsible for monitoring vehicles to ensure they are parked correctly and in compliance with parking restrictions. This will involve using a mobile device to issue penalty notices to vehicles that are parked incorrectly and in contravention of the restriction. The officer will also be responsible for carrying out parking patrols throughout Coventry and ensuring parking equipment and machinery in car parks and on-street is operational.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor vehicles to ensure they are parked correctly and in compliance with parking restrictions
  • Issue penalty notices to vehicles that are parked incorrectly and in contravention of the restriction
  • Carry out parking patrols throughout Coventry
  • Ensure parking equipment and machinery in car parks and on-street is operational

Requirements

  • Confident and able to deal professionally with a range of customers in challenging situations
  • Good understanding of the parking enforcement regulations
  • Observant and able to record details accurately and efficiently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Aptitude to use computer technology
