Job Summary

The Site Agent will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring compliance with contract drawings and quality control requirements. This role requires strong leadership and technical skills to manage and coordinate site activities, resolve technical challenges, and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with contract drawings and quality control requirements.
  • Review and verify plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy.
  • Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded in accordance with client specifications.
  • Provide leadership and address technical challenges that arise on site.
  • Coordinate and conduct pre-start site surveys.
  • Guarantee timely handover of works and quality records without outstanding defects, in close collaboration with the Project Manager and installation teams.
  • Maintain and enforce a high standard of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance on site.
  • Perform site calibration checks.
  • Lead in resolving unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise on site.

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing Civils Projects.
  • Proven track record of overseeing and leading civil engineering projects.
  • Deep understanding of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations.
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Flexibility with ability to travel nationwide.
  • Excellent communication skills with capability to liaise effectively with site-based team and clients.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
