Role Overview

As a Residential Childcare Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe and supportive environment for vulnerable children to thrive. We are seeking an experienced leader to manage our residential childcare service and lead a team to deliver high-quality care.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality care for vulnerable children. Our team is committed to promoting children's rights and providing a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading a team to deliver high-quality care for vulnerable children.
  • Ensuring that all care practices meet regulatory requirements and national child protection guidelines.
  • Developing and implementing individual care plans tailored to each child's needs.
  • Managing and motivating a team in a care setting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A qualification meeting SSSC standards for registered managers in residential childcare or the ability to achieve this.
  • Proven experience in a senior role within residential childcare, working with children who have additional support needs or complex social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
  • Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage and inspire a team.
  • A thorough understanding of child development, childcare legislation, and a commitment to promoting children's rights.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £48,000-£56,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
