Care Assistant

**Job Description** Home Instead are Recruiting Permanent Care Staff throughout Scotland.**
We are recruiting care staff to join our teams based in East Lothian and surrounding areas, whether you have many years experience or are looking to join the sector for the first time, we have training courses in place to suit everyone, providing development opportunities to excel within a career in care.
- Permanent Contracts 16 to 35+ hours per week
- Full Time is only 3.5 days a week
- Part time is 3 or 4 evenings OR mornings per week
- Work life balance with every second weekend off
- £12 - £12.50 per hour + 35/40p per mile
Shift patterns:
- Rolling rota to enable a good work/life balance._
- Week 1_
- Monday 8am to 10pm (with break)_
- Tuesday: 8am to 3pm_
- Saturday: 8am to 10pm (with break)_
- Sunday: 8am to 10pm (with break)_
- Week 2:_
- Tuesday: 4:30pm to 10pm_
- Wednesday: 8am to 10pm (with break)_
- Thursday: 8am to 10pm (with break)_
- Friday: 8am to 10pm (with break)_
- Part time also available on the shift pattern, just choose either Early or backshift._

- Driving: Your experience behind the wheel will be valuable as you travel between clients in the local area.
- Beauty Therapy: Your nurturing skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in providing personal care.
- Teaching: Your ability to educate and empower others will help clients take an active role in their care.
- Admin Assistant: Your organizational skills and attention to detail will assist in recording and reporting visit information
