About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team at our Solihull office. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth processing of payments, invoices, and purchase orders. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with our control framework and approval protocols.

  • Process and monitor payments, ensuring invoices are received and recorded accurately and paid promptly.
  • Ensure that purchase orders, invoices, and payments processing adhere to the respective control framework and approval protocols in place.
  • Timely and accurate processing of Subcontractor invoices, across Tilia Homes, Tilia, and Hopkins.
  • Ensure that all invoices are tax compliant according to Tilia Homes guidelines, at regional and group level.
  • Track subcontractor queries and complaints and drive resolution via the appropriate escalation routes within the relevant business functions.
  • Perform ongoing housekeeping activities to maintain clean ledgers at all times.
  • Ensure timely processing of all activities to support the monthly/quarterly/annual close periods.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure regular supplier statement reconciliations are completed.
  • Actively support the sharing of new ideas and best practice across all areas.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent analytical and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience of CIS, strong financial and IT skills, and the ability to gather and synthesize extensive amounts of information into concise reports and presentations. COINS experience and practical knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are highly desirable.
