About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at East Boston Neighborhood Health Center. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and implement client care plans, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services.
- Document care provided and report any changes or concerns to the team.
- Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Accompany clients to appointments and provide transportation as needed.
- Perform simple treatments under the direction of nursing staff, including catheter care and skin assessments.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current certification as a H.H.A. /C.N.A. from an approved program.
- Minimum one year experience working with a frail or elderly population.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physical capability to provide ADL and mobility assistance to all clients.
