Senior Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

About the Role:

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cotswold Spa Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that patients are assessed, treated, and discharged safely
  • Develop and implement effective medication management plans
  • Contribute to quality assurance, complaints, and co-production processes
  • Deliver NICE guidance and lead the CPA and ICR process to ensure full compliance with quality standards

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full GMC registration with license to practice
  • MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or be accepted within 6 months
  • Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status
  • Clinical training and experience required for gaining UK CCT
  • Widespread and detailed experience of assessment and management of patients in Child and Adolescent psychiatry
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients
