About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Cotswold Spa Hospital. As a Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of best practice care to our patients with eating disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients with eating disorders
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and NICE guidance
  • Lead and manage the CPA and ICR process
  • Provide medication management and quality assurance
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Full GMC registration with licence to practice
  • MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
  • On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or be accepted within 6 months
  • Section 12(2) approval, Approved Clinician status
  • Clinical training and experience required for gaining UK CCT
