Lead Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

About the Role:

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Cotswold Spa Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, treatment, and discharge of patients with eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that patients receive safe and effective care, adhering to NICE guidelines and quality standards.
  • Lead and manage the Care Programme Approach (CPA) and Individual Care Record (ICR) process to ensure full compliance with quality standards.
  • Deliver high-quality medication management and quality assurance, addressing complaints and co-production.
  • Collaborate with NHS clinicians and commissioners to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • On the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or accepted within 6 months.
  • Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.
  • Clinical training and experience in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
  • Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients.
