The University of Kent is looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of Curriculum and Assessment Officer – Student Choice.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will work closely with the Curriculum and Assessment Manager to ensure that programme-related student administration within the School relating to Student Choice is efficient and effective.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing high-quality secretarial support to several boards and/or committees within the KMMS governance structure
  2. Acting as the key point of contact to resolve complex queries from students and stakeholders
  3. Line managing and monitoring the performance and workload of the Student Choice Course Assistants
Requirements and Skills

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Substantial experience in an administrative support role with experience of student administration or equivalent experience in a busy office in an administrative role
  • Line management experience and the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the flexibility to respond to changing priorities

Salary: £31,500 per annum
