Job Title: Specialist Disability Mentor

">Description:
">- We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Disability Mentor to join our team at Beacon Support Ltd. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to Higher Education students with disabilities and mental health conditions, assisting them to learn coping strategies and techniques to overcome their particular disability-related difficulties.
Responsibilities:
">- Provide individualized support to students with disabilities/mental health conditions, developing personalized learning plans and providing ongoing support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of support services.
Requirements:
">- A postgraduate qualification in mental health or a related field.
- Experience of working with students with specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) in higher or further education.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Salary: £30-£40 per hour, plus a generous holiday entitlement
