Canterbury Christ Church University is looking for two exceptional individuals to join its Governing Body. As a key member of the Board, you will contribute to the development of our strategic plan, providing valuable insights and expertise to help drive our success.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced professionals with a strong understanding of higher education governance, who can bring their expertise to bear on our challenges and opportunities. You will work closely with our leadership team, engaging with stakeholders and helping us achieve our vision for the future.

The roles are open to individuals from diverse backgrounds, with a particular emphasis on welcoming expressions of interest from women, Black, Asian, and other minority ethnic candidates. This will help us maintain our commitment to diversity and inclusivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our strategic plan
  • Engage with stakeholders, including students, staff, and external partners
  • Provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Executive team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in higher education governance or a related field
  • Strong understanding of institutional growth and development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £85,000 per annum
