Job Description

The Commodity Trading desk at ING Bank N.V. provides commodity hedges and risk management solutions to corporates with hedging needs in the commodity space.

This role will cover London Metal Exchange Base Metals, Iron Ore, Coking Coal, and Battery Metals.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow developments in (paper) commodity markets.
  • Continuously check and update relevant market parameters.
  • Price indicative and firm quotes for clients.
  • Contribute to IT developments for the desk.
  • Support senior traders in their daily routine.
  • Support portfolio owners manage the risk positions of the desk within the applicable limits and desk risk tolerance.
  • Produce daily P n L and research reports.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per year.

  • Increasing scope and responsibility in a growing trading book.
  • Possibility for temporary or permanent assignment in other Financial Markets Trading locations.
