About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Child Care Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide support to a 5-year-old child with complex needs, including behavioural management and self-regulation.

Responsibilities

As a Child Care Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing 2:1 support to a 5-year-old child
  • Assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and self-help skills
  • Supporting the child's anxiety and self-regulation needs
  • Working collaboratively with the child's medical, therapy, and case management teams
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children with complex needs
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive salary of £17.44 per hour

Working Hours

The contract includes working alternate weekends, with additional shifts available during school holidays.

Shift times may vary, but typical hours include:

  • Sleeping night shifts: 9am - 6pm
  • Day shifts: 2:30pm - 9:00am
