Role Overview

Morgan Hunt UK Limited requires an experienced Interim Finance Officer for a 3-month contract in Central London.

Responsibilities
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate payment processing, including rent receipts, direct debit payments, and other charges.
  • They will process rent account adjustments, client refunds, and resolve suspense account discrepancies according to established protocols.
  • The Finance Officer will reconcile accounts, review banking data, and provide timely information on rent or service charge payments to internal and external stakeholders.
  • They will manage Housing Benefit notifications to ensure correct allocation of payments to client accounts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Significant experience in managing large financial transaction volumes preferably with knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and housing-related processes.
  • A solid background in accounts payable.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate of up to £20 per hour, requiring 2-3 days of work per week in the office. Start dates can be arranged as soon as possible.
