Early Years Educator

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Romsey Day Nursery and Preschool. As an Early Years Educator, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years old.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the nursery team to deliver engaging play-based learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and shared understanding of children's needs and progress.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of policies and procedures that prioritize child welfare, safety, and protection.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in early childhood education.
- Candidates must have a genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their educational and personal growth.
- A minimum of GCSE Grade C/Level 4 or above in Maths and English, or Functional Skills Level 2. Alternatively, candidates may possess relevant qualifications or experience in childcare.
- Previous experience in childcare is desirable but not essential. Relevant training or certifications such as First Aid, Food Hygiene, or Paediatric First Aid would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- A competitive salary estimated to be around £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
