We are seeking a dedicated and passionate secondary teacher to join our client school in Romsey, providing engaging lessons for students in years 7 to 11.

Role Overview:

As a secondary teacher, you will develop and deliver inspiring lessons covering the secondary curriculum. You will support individual student needs, adapting your teaching approach to varying abilities.

You will work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment. Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining open communication with students, parents, and colleagues are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lessons for years 7 to 11, adapting to diverse learning needs.
  • Support individual students, tailoring your teaching approach to their unique requirements.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment by working closely with colleagues.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching at the secondary level, with a strong subject knowledge for years 7 to 11.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
