Church Governance Specialist

The Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) is seeking a highly skilled individual to serve as a Community Trustee. This exciting opportunity will enable the successful candidate to contribute to the governance and strategic direction of the organisation, with a focus on ensuring high standards of corporate governance and financial sustainability.
Job DescriptionIn this role, you will work closely with the Director and Senior Team to provide constructive challenge and support in relation to strategies, policies, and performance. You will also be responsible for agreeing the RSCM's Mission Statement, Values, and Strategic Plan, and undertaking regular reviews of the strategic planning process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level governance and oversight to ensure the effective management of the RSCM's resources
- Work collaboratively with fellow Council Members to drive the development of the RSCM's strategy and vision
- Contribute to the RSCM's efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to reflect the diverse communities it serves
