About the Job

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to fill the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at the Church Commissioners. As a key member of the National Church Institutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Church of England's mission and objectives.

The CEO will be responsible for leading the organisation's efforts to deliver exceptional governance, risk management, and ethical oversight. You will have a deep understanding of the complexities of the charity sector and the ability to navigate challenging stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic policies to drive the organisation's mission and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team, ensuring excellent governance and risk management practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the Commissioners' Board, Parliament, and the wider Church.

Salary:£140,000 per annum, plus benefits package including 30 days annual leave, eight bank holidays, and three additional days off.
