Repton School seeks a Senior Leadership Governor with strategic health and safety expertise to provide oversight and support to the Head and Senior Leadership Team.

">About the Role

This unremunerated position involves working strategically with the Governing Body, contributing to the development and evaluation of Repton's long-term strategy. The appointed Governor will be responsible for advising the Board and senior leadership on risk management, ensuring that appropriate systems and procedures are in place to cover all aspects of the safeguarding agenda.

The successful candidate will bring a broad understanding of legal obligations and statutory requirements around health and safety and fire, including regulatory compliance, training, and risk mitigation. They will ideally have experience overseeing health and safety in a senior role or of leadership/guidance within an industry with rigorous health and safety standards.

A minimum estimated salary of £20,000 - £25,000 per annum is expected, based on the location and nature of the role.
