Electro-Mechanical Systems Architect

Sales Development Limited is seeking an experienced Product Development Engineer for an initial 12-month contract. Based in Hertfordshire, this role involves developing product extensions and new product developments, requiring strong leadership skills and technical expertise.
You will work closely with customer development partners, Product Managers, and Project Managers to deliver products that meet both technical and commercial requirements. This is a senior position, requiring a proven ability to direct cross-functional development teams and solve complex design challenges.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing product extensions and new product developments.
- Directing cross-functional development teams.
- Collaborating with customer development partners, Product Managers, and Project Managers.
- Designing consumable injection moulded plastic components.
- Leading design reviews.
Requirements:
* A degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an established top-quartile University.
* At least 7 years of experience in a relevant industry with a track record of working on complex systems software, hardware, and electronics.
* Strong leadership skills and technical expertise.
Estimated Salary: £90,000 - £120,000 per annum.
