This is a great opportunity for an experienced Lab Technician with a background in engineering in a mechanical environment to join this brilliant start up This brilliant company is based on the Chesterford, and they are transforming energy storage systems.


If you have previous experience working in mechanical engineering or electronics environment and use of mills/drills as well as experience with electronic circuitry – this could be a great opportunity for you. If this sounds like you and you also have an understanding of health and safety in a lab environment, we would love to hear from you If you also have wet chemistry experience that would be a bonus


Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of stock materials (Current collectors, fabrics), carry out routine mechanical practices to defined operating standards.
  • Construction of electrochemical cells (Mechanical assembly & light machining)
  • Testing of electrochemical cells
  • Support development projects
  • Ensure high standards of health & safety.
  • Check, calibrate and maintain lab equipment
  • Monitor lab stocks alongside tech team
