As a Principal Systems Engineer at BAE Systems, you will be responsible for leading systems engineering activities on the right-hand side of the engineering lifecycle V-Model. This includes testing, integration, and commissioning of the Gun Control and Electro Optical Control system on the Type 26 Frigate programme.

You will be working in a small team, leading technical activities and having responsibility for all aspects of systems engineering. Your duties will include producing progress and quality reporting tools and metrics, acting as the senior point of contact with customers and/or suppliers, and providing help and direction to less experienced team members.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a software, hardware, and system delivery team, with a high level of understanding of the engineering lifecycle, systems engineering methodologies, and practices. They will also be competent and capable with systems engineering tools.
