About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our team at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Directorate of Respiratory Medicine, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with respiratory conditions, including lung cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and interstitial lung disease.
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that meet the individual needs of our patients.
  • Contribute to the development of our respiratory services, including the design and implementation of new clinical pathways and protocols.
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
  • Provide educational and training opportunities for junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.
