About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Walton Academy. As a key member of our Estates team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our premises, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our students and staff, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to ensure the academy's buildings and grounds are well-maintained and meet the needs of our users.
  • Work closely with the Estates Manager and Business Manager to develop and manage the academy's budget and resources.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of contractors and maintenance staff, ensuring that all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify and report any maintenance issues or concerns.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the academy meets its statutory obligations.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, staff, and visitors, responding promptly to queries and concerns.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external contractors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures, with the ability to develop and implement effective policies and procedures.
