Front Office Operations Manager

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Front Office Operations Manager to oversee the night-hour supervision of our Front Office Team in Glasgow.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Front Office operation, ensuring exceptional guest experience through high standards of service delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regular and VIP guests, providing personalized attention and resolving any issues promptly.
- Complete Night Audit duties with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining up-to-date records and reports.
- Maximize room occupancy by promoting hotel services and demonstrating knowledge of hotel products, pricing, and policies.
- Demonstrate expertise in handling foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash, adhering to correct procedures and security protocols.
- Ensure seamless interaction with front-of-house equipment and property management systems, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Conduct annual and mid-year performance appraisals with team members, providing constructive feedback and coaching for growth.
- Carry out Health and Safety Checks and Night Walks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Represent the Hotel Manager, taking full responsibility for the hotel's operations and making informed decisions.
- Manage, record, and resolve issues or emergencies, prioritizing guest satisfaction and hotel reputation.
- Deliver consistently high standards of customer service, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
- Multitask in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities.
- Hold previous experience as a Night Manager in a similar size property, possessing a deep understanding of operational workflows.
- Cultivate effective communication with the team and hotel staff, ensuring clear expectations and goals.
- Be flexible with hours, adjusting to changing schedules and demands.
- Fluently speak English, communicating complex ideas and concepts effectively.
